As
you travel through this site I will share
with you pages that represent the biblical
reason for Christmas (Christmas Advent Calendar), as
well as pages that relate to traditional
Christmas.
I
love everything about Christmas but what I
love most is that it gives us a time for
true celebration, not based on how many
presents are under the tree, or how much it
will cost, instead it's a day to celebrate
the birth of
Jesus Christ. It is also a time that most people
give unconditionally which makes Christmas a
time of Joy. Gifts don't have to cost money,
gifts are things given from the heart
unconditionally from one to another. I love
gifts don't get me wrong , but I've had the
opportunity to learn that some of the most
precious gifts I've been given are gifts of
unconditional love and kindness. They have
sometimes involved no more then a kind
gesture which I will treasure for the rest
of my life and no one can take that away. Because
I had such a dramatic change in
my own life most things of monetary value I
no longer own. So when I personally focus on
the true meaning of Christmas those things
no longer matter because the gift that's
been given will last me through eternity,
nothing or no one can take that from me
which to me gives me reason to celebrate
Christmas no matter the circumstances that
surround me at the time.
My
Christmas prayer for you is that this
Christmas season be filled with the Spirit
and that no matter what circumstances you
are facing today that Joy and Peace fill
your heart.
